In order to provide more Christians with a chance to study the Bible, Phnom Penh Bible School launched the Bible Study Education Extension Program in 2005. This program focuses on teaching the Word of God and equipping believers to study the Bible. The program has been held in provinces across Cambodia.
Certificate Programs
There are 3 certificates
Certificate of Biblical Studies
Requirement to complete 13 Subjects
At least 11 Subjects on Books of the Bible
(Including at least 5 subjects on
either the New Testament or Old)
Other subjects from the following areas:
- How to Study the Bible
- Introduction to Biblical Greek
- Topical subjects on the Bible
- Ministry subjects
Certificate of Old Testament Studies
Requirement to complete 8 Subjects:
At least 6 Subjects on the Books of the OT
Other subjects from the following areas:
- How to Study the Bible
- Topical subjects on the Bible
- Ministry subjects
Certificate of New Testament Studies
Requirement to complete 8 Subjects:
At least 6 Subjects on the Books of the NT
Other subjects from the following areas:
- How to Study the Bible
- Topical subjects on the Bible
- Ministry subjects
Note: Students are able to study individual subjects without registering for certificate programs.

Introductory Subjects:
OT: Introduction to the Old Testament, Pentateuch , Historical Books, Prophetic Books, Poetic and Wisdom Books;
NT: Introduction to the New Testament, The Gospels, Acts, and Pauline Epistles, Non-Pauline Epistles, Apocalyptic Literature.
Individual Books in the Bible
OT: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus…etc.;
NT: Matthew, Acts, James, …etc.
Other Subjects:
How to Study the Bible
Introduction to Biblical Greek
Topical Subjects on the Bible
- Basics for Biblical Theology,
- Sermon on the Mount,

Course Design
For each course, there are 8 lessons in total and 1 extra lesson for Q&A and
examination. Each lesson is held for 2 hours. Please be noted that this program is not equivalent to programs that are held on PPBS campus
Course Requirements
Students who want to obtain a certificate, should attend at least 6 lessons for individual courses and complete all the course requirements. Usually, the course requirements include assignments for every lesson and a final examination.
Registration and Fee
All the students have to register for study. For students who want to obtain a certificate should register for the certificate program also. For registration, please fill in the form for course registration which can be obtained from course
teacher.

Place of Study
